As a Hingham resident for over 25 years, and proud parent of two daughters who went through the Hingham Public Schools system, I bring both personal and professional insight to the college application process. With 26 years (and counting) of experience as a high school counselor, I understand the unique balance of supporting your child as a parent while navigating the complexities of college admissions. My approach is grounded, empathetic, and informed by decades of working with students and families to help them succeed.

I am a highly experienced school counselor with years of dedicated service in the Newton Public Schools system. Throughout my career, I have successfully guided more than 1,000 students through the complex and often overwhelming college application process. I understand that applying to college requires not only strong academic performance but also careful planning, organization, and time management.

With a deep knowledge of the admissions landscape, I help students stay on track with deadlines, craft compelling personal statements, and develop strong supplemental essays that highlight their unique strengths. I also provide expert guidance on building a well-structured activities list and résumé, ensuring that students effectively showcase their accomplishments and passions.
